Darius and his fellow Pop Idol contestants featured in an OK magazine article about the tour and Darius, Will and Gareth becoming ambassadors for The Prince’s Trust in May 2002.

“Emotions ran high - both for the crowd and for the performers - at a packed concert held at the London Arena in Docklands which raised over a quarter of million pounds for the Prince's Trust, the charity set up by HRH Prince Charles.
Pop Idol winner Will Young and runners-up Gareth Gates and Darius Danesh have all been appointed ambassadors for the charity, which offers young people a chance to set up businesses and learn new skills.
Scottish heart-throb Darius spoke of his delight after hearing of his appointment as ambassador for the Prince's Trust in Scotland.
The 21-year-old Glaswegian said: 'I'm really excited. The programme provides second chances for young people and the support it gives is vital to help them get back on their feet.'”

"And when Darius descended the stairs, clad in a black leather jacket and singing 'It's Not Unusual', the audience went wild. Later, he spoke of the 'electricity' of performing live - especially when he took to the stage at the concert in his home city of Glasgow and 'you just see this sea of lights, hands and faces in front of you'."
