In the summer of 2002 Darius took part in a photoshoot to accompany his first Smash Hits front cover and lead feature which was to be published in July to coincide with the release of his debut single 'Colourblind'. Photos from the shoot were also used as posters in the magazine throughout the rest of the year and in the Smash Hits 2003 Yearbook.
The shoot took place in a big old house that had been converted from a pub and Darius entertained everyone with an impromptu performance of 'More Than Words' whilst having his picture taken.
These photos show polaroids that were taken on the set of the shoot compared with what turned out to be posters in Smash Hits.
